Etymologically, The word Education stems from the Latin words Educare which objectively means to bring up, nourish, raise and Educare which means to lead out and draw forth the budding educands so that they can take out their livelihood by way of establishing a secured status in the society.
Traits:
The salient trails of efficacious education are best reflected in the letters that comprise the epitomic word EDUCATION as encoded and connotated below as we can find in the objectives of NEP-2020
E:Employability
D: Development life skills
U: Universal learning
C: Character building and critical thinking
A: Adept in communication
T: Technically advanced
I: Intellectual development
O: Occupational learning, that is, vocational education
N: Nicety of learning as time trends currently.
How to achieve the objectives:
The expected success of efficacious Education entirely lies on three pillars known as GST. Which connotatively stands for
G: Guardians
S: Students and
T: Teachers.
Along with all other stake holders of the society the trio- teacher, Guardians and students are required to be obliged to execute their bounden responsibilities with due devotion and commitment.
The concerned teachers of any educational institution as led by an ideal HM/Principal must bend on rendering their service with accountability and professional ethics. The educators should always bear in mind
“Education is not the amount of information that is put
into brain and seen riot there”.
Now time demands and the competitive globalized world calls for the best performers rather than best Toppers.
In this backdrop our schools must be resourceful and infrastructurally equipped enough to impart value education, quality education and effective education fulfilling the 22 features of 21st education where upon the objective of efficacious education would be fulfilled in the truest sense of the term.
Conclusion:
Efficacious education is not such a phenomenon which can be dwelt on so curtly. However, all efforts have been put in the sum up that in producing the intended learning outcome which in fin help learners gain knowledge, skills, values and competencies in a meaningful and measurable way.
